Below we present you with two strategies. One that works for the usual big BR maps, Verdansk in the past and Caldera now, and one that only works on the small Rebirth Island map.

Weapons leveling in Warzone

Not every player is in the mood for the chaotic Rebirth Island, so here we briefly explain the fastest method to level weapons on the big Battle Royale map. One thing we will tell you right away, the normal Battle Royale or Vanguard Royale mode is absolutely not suitable for leveling weapons. For the simple reason that you don’t respawn and thus can hardly farm many kills.

Plays the modes Clash or Plunder

This is exactly why you should definitely play modes where you can respawn indefinitely to level up. Both Clash and Plunder appear in the weekly playlists, so one of these modes should always be available. The good thing about these modes is that not only can you collect a lot of kills, since you won’t be kicked out of the game after dying, but you can also complete a lot of missions that will reward you with tons of XP. Moreover, these modes allow you to start with your own loadout right from the beginning. You can simply put the weapon you want to level into a loadout and start with it, without having to save up for a loadout drop.

Use XP Boosts

It should be obvious, but we’ll say it again: You probably have some double XP tokens lying around, so please use them. Make sure you activate the tokens for double weapon XP, the others won’t do you any good when leveling weapons.

Use the Points Friend Perk & Surplus Attachment

The Points Friend perk is located in the second (red) slot and is usually pretty useless. However, when it comes to leveling quickly, it is quite useful, as it increases the reward for each completed mission in Warzone. The same applies to the “Surplus” attachment. This attachment is only available for Vanguard weapons, but those are the current weapons you want to level quickly. The attachment is unlocked for most weapons around level 30 and increases the earned weapon XP for every single kill you make.

Play with the appropriate operator

Since Vanguard, all new operators have a favorite weapon. If you use this weapon with the matching operator, you will get an XP boost. Of course, this doesn’t work with all weapons, since there are more weapons than operators, but before you start grinding, you should check if the weapon you want to level up might not be an operator’s favorite weapon. Let’s move on to the second method of leveling weapons quickly in Warzone. Thanks to a trick from a Reddit user, you can gain weapon XP extremely fast in Warzone on Rebirth Island. Here is the original Reddit post with the description of the trick:

Uses an XP Boost/Surplus/Points Friend

As in the previous method, you should use your XP tokens and equip the appropriate perk and attachment. With this combo of Perks, Attachment, and Double XP tokens, you will increase your XP gain immensely.

Use a helicopter on Rebirth Island

Yes, in order to get your weapons to level 70 quickly, you will unfortunately need to play Rebirth Island and find a helicopter. Once you land on the island, you’ll want to secure a helicopter as soon as possible, as it will simply make you much more mobile and allow you to avoid most fights. The fewer fights you have to fight, the better.

Get the weapon you want to level

Now, of course, you need the weapon to be leveled. Unfortunately, there is no Plunder or Clash on Rebirth Island, so you can’t start with a pre-made loadout. Either you are lucky and find the weapon you want to level somewhere in the ground loot or you have to buy a loadout as soon as possible, in which you have packed the corresponding weapon before.

Make Supply Runs

From now on, simply make Supply Run contracts. Find a contract on the map, activate it, and simply fly your helicopter from Supply Run to Supply Run. Of course, this works best with at least one buddy, so your helicopter can stay in the air all the time.

Even without kills, you’ll earn an incredible amount of XP using this method, allowing you to level up your weapon between 30 and 40 levels in just a single match. So after two or three full matches, you should be able to quickly take a weapon from level 0 to max level 70. Let us know how well this method works for you.
