The – Season of shenanigans in Pokémon GO has begun and brings with it plenty of events. One of them provides a solid reason why it’s especially worth choosing Pam-Pam as your buddy Pokémon today, September 05, 2021.

Autumn is here, the – Season of shenanigans in Pokémon GO begins – and the special Hoopa event on 05 September 2021 not only brings a whole range of interesting bonuses, but also delivers an optimal opportunity to make Pam-Pam your buddy. We’ll explain why in this quick tip. You can find the guide to the Hoopa special research Misunderstood Prank here.

Develop Pam-Pam – a difficult matter?

The reason why you should make Pam-Pam your buddy today has to do with the of the battle Pokémon. You need 50 Pam-Pam candies to evolve Pam-Pam into Pandagro. However, you will only get them if you “adventure together”. In other words, you need to catch 32 Unlight Pokémon while Pam-Pam explores the world as your buddy.

Normally, Unlight Pokémon are quite rare in the game world of Pokémon GO. But today, on September 05, 2021, a special event is taking place in which these shy fellows can be lured by smoke at certain times. Unlight Pokémon will appear more often than usual at the following times when smoke is activated:

  • between 12:00 and 13:00
  • between 14:00 and 15:00
  • between 16:00 and 17:00

So you have three hours to catch 32 Unlight Pokémon and bag the required candies for Pam-Pam evolution. The following Pokémon count toward the bonbons, among others:

  • Kapuno
  • Kramurx
  • Doguster
  • Kanivanha
  • Fiffyen
  • Felilou
  • Skunkapoo
  • Sniebel
  • Zobiris
  • ALoLa-Sleima
  • ALoLa-Mauzi
  • ALoLa-Rattfratz
  • ALoLa Zigzachs

You’ll also encounter Unlight Pokémon in certain battles against Rocket bullies. If the bully says “Where there’s light, there’s shadow,” you can expect an Unlight Pokémon.

By the way, if you don’t have Pam-Pam yet, you can hatch it from 12k eggs that you get after defeating Team Rocket bosses Arlo, Cliff and Sierra.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
