PoGO – Pokémon Go: Weather Week with Temporary Research and Rain Formeo – Guide

What the Voltolos in the Incarnation form is its Electrotastic event, the Voltolos in the Animal Spirit form is its Weather Week. The makers of Pokémon Go have announced another event for the coming week. The weather week brings Shiny Rain Formeo and a Limited Research. The information about the weather week and the steps and rewards of the associated Temporary Research can be found in our guide.

Update from March 24, 2021: With the start of Weather Week – we’ve added steps and rewards for the event’s Limited Research below – Pokémon Go developers have also announced a Raid Weekend featuring Rayquaza. Rayquaza will appear alongside Animal Spirit Voltolos in Tier 5 Raids on March 28 and 29, 2021, and will be mastering the Gale attack secured. If you want to give yourself the fight against Rayquaza, take a look at our counter guide, which we update.

Original news from March 17, 2021: The fans of Pokémon Go are offered so much for the introduction of the animal spirit forms of the forces of nature. Currently (since March 16), the Electrostatic Electrotastic event is active, and that will be followed by Weather Week, which starts on March 24, 2021. With the change of events, Tier 5 raids will no longer have Voltolos in incarnation form, but in animal spirit form. But with the weather week there are some other interesting goodies.

For example, if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to find a Rain Formeo in all its dazzling beauty. And exclusive field research, additional raids, and limited research will bring you thematically appropriate pocket monsters such as Enton, Quapsel, or even the newly introduced Zapplardin with Electrostatic. Below is the information about the weather week as well as the spawn schedule for Pokémon with rain and storm preference. After that, we’ll create a dummy for Temporary Research for Weather Week – we’ll add the steps and rewards as soon as they’re known. We wish you a lot of fun with Elektrotastic and the weather week. By the way, it can be assumed that the Easter Event 2021 in Pokémon Go will follow after the week.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
