PoGO – Pokémon Go: Use Spotlight Hour today (12/14/2021) for Mega XP!

Get your lucky eggs ready and start practicing throwing your Pokéballs, because today at the Pokémon Go Spotlight Hour on Dec. 21, 2021, the focus is on Shnebedeck – and you’ll receive double XP for catching Pokémon! Don’t miss out on this bonus!

The hardcore fans have certainly already marked the Pokémon Go spotlight hour today, on 21.12.2021, in the calendar. The spotlight is on Shnebedeck, which you will encounter particularly often in the wild between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and which you can also get hold of as a Shiny if you are lucky. But if you’re looking for the most effective XP farm in Pokémon Go before the new year, then you should definitely log into Niantic’s pocket monster collecting game today!

Spotlight Hour with Shnebedeck and Mega XP

Aside from incredible amounts of Shnebedeck appearing in the wild (and if you still need Ice or Plant Pokémon for any special research, you should be ready anyway if you want to finally complete the tasks), the double XP bonus for catching Pokémon will also be active between 6pm and 7pm on December 21, 2021!

So you should make sure that you have enough Pokéballs in your pockets until the spotlight hour with Shnebedeck and that you can also activate two lucky eggs. Of course, you should also make sure that you have enough space in your Pokébox – some of you might not have cleaned up after the last Community Day in December 2021.

If you have enough space, Pokéballs, and lucky eggs, the experience points will be raining in at the massive Shnebedeck Spawn Fest – and racking up XP is even easier than last week’s spotlight hour with Magmar. So if you still want to gain experience in Pokémon Go to bring your player avatar to level 50, don’t miss today’s mini-event!

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
