PoGO – Pokémon Go: Ula-Ula Adventure – Special Research Guide

ALoLa, Pokémon Trainers, continue to celebrate the ALoLa – Season and now rejoice in the new special research “An Ula-Ula Adventure” in Pokémon Go! We have steps and rewards in the guide to the Ula-Ula special research!

The ALoLa – Season is well underway, and today, April 12, 2022, brings the third of the five ALoLa – Season special quests in Pokémon Go: “An Ula-Ula Adventure”! In our guide to the special research, you can learn all the details about steps and rewards to complete an Ula-Ula adventure. Important: If you complete all Special Research by June 1, 2022, you will unlock the fifth Special Research for the ALoLa – Season Finale – this has not been communicated so directly before. Fortunately, you can pick up all ALoLa special research until June 1, 2022!

An Ula-Ula Adventure – Step 1/4

  • Catch 10 Pokémon – Reward: 10 x Pokéball
  • Complete 3 field explorations – Reward: 5 x Sanana Berry
  • Earn 5 hearts with your buddy – Reward: 8 x Himmihberry

Reward for completing Step 1: Encounter with Ultrigaria, 500 XP, 500 Stardust

An Ula-Ula Adventure – Step 2/4

  • Catch 5 Pokémon with Weather Boost – Reward: Encounter with Sonnkern
  • Take 3 snapshots of wild Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with Myrapla
  • Use 7 berries when catching Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with Samurzel

Reward for completing step 2: 1 x Charging TM, 500 XP, 500 Stardust

An Ula-Ula Adventure – Step 3/4

  • Catch 5 different types of Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with ALoLa Sandan
  • Run 2 kilometers – Reward: Encounter with Kleinstein
  • Complete 5 field explorations – Reward: 10 x Sanana Berry

Reward for completing Step 3: 1 x Premium Battle Pass, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust

An Ula-Ula Adventure – Step 4/4

  • Catch 15 Pokémon – Reward: 7 x Sanana Berry
  • Send 5 gifts – Reward: 10 x Superball
  • Win 1 Raid – Reward: Encounter with ALoLa Vulpix

Reward for completing Step 4: 15 x Hyperball, 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust

You have the entire ALoLa – Season in Pokémon Go to successfully complete the various special researches and collect all the rewards – and since they are normal special researches, you should be able to complete them even beyond that. But the faster you’re on the ball, the less you’ll have to catch up in the end or get into trouble in terms of time. It is now known (as of April 12, 2022) that you must complete all previous ALoLa – Season special research by June 1, 2022 in order to receive the final special research from May 25, 2022.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
