Pokémon Go Community Day again only three hours

The developers decide to return to a duration of three hours with the Pokémon Go Community Day in April 2022, meaning that the Community Day with Velursi will take place on April 23, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. This decision, according to the folks at Niantic, was made because only about five percent of trainers in Pokémon Go participate in the event for longer than three hours. Feedback on Classic Community Day with Bisasam was also clear: The shorter duration of the event made it easier to arrange to play with friends, they said. However, because shortening the event means some trainers will benefit from certain perks for less time, the folks at Niantic will activate more bonuses for Community Day in the future.

  • On April 23, 2022, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Velursi will appear more frequently in the wild and can be caught as a Shiny if you’re lucky.
  • Evolve Velursi during the event, or up to two hours afterward, so Kosturso learns the Attack Reject Blow. (Trainer battles: 20 damage and the user’s defense is guaranteed to increase / Arena battles and Raid battles: 50 damage).
  • For 0,99 Euro you can buy the ticket for the special research Wild Fang in the store – more info below.
  • During the event, you will receive triple Catch XP, double Catch Candy, double chance of Velursi Candy XL for catching Velursi.
  • Smoke lasts for three hours during the event.
  • Lure modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Take some snapshots during Community Day – you might be in for a surprise!
  • During the event and for two hours afterwards You can make one additional special swap (maximum 2 on the day).
  • Each swap will cost 50 percent less Stardust during the event and up to two hours after.
  • If Trainers catch enough Pokémon lured by a single Lure Module, the amount of Experience Points awarded for catching Pokémon near that PokéStop will increase from triple to quadruple for 30 minutes. Note: This bonus does not count against the triple EP bonus that is already in effect, but replaces it for 30 minutes.
  • In the store, you can buy a one-time Community Day box for 850 PokéCoins, which contains 15 Hyperballs, 15 Sanana Berries, 1 Top Instant TM, and 1 Remote Raid Pass.
  • In addition, a free box of 30 Hyperballs is available in the store – get them before the event ends!

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
