PoGO – Pokémon Go: See Double – Special Research Guide

For Community Day in Pokémon Go, the next that puts the focus on Samurzel, there is once again an Event Ticket for 0.99 euros that you can buy in the store. This will unlock the bonus special research “See Twice” for the event, which will then be available to you on Community Day. What is already known about the Samurzel special research “Double vision” is summarized in our .

In Pokémon Go, the next Community Day event is coming up on May 24, 2020, and this time it’s all about Samurzel and the Pokémon’s evolutions, Blanas and Tengulist. The Community Day will be active on May 24 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. local time, and if you turn Blanas into a Tengulist by 7:00 p.m., it will learn the Bullet Seed attack.

In line with the event, you can once again buy an Event Ticket for 0.99 euros, which will activate the special research “See Double” on Community Day. As usual, you cannot return the ticket for this special research. So if you put the 99 cents on Niantic’s virtual counter, you should also have time on Community Day to work through what are expected to be four tasks. These can also be completed afterwards, but will then be much more tedious, because there are simply not so many samurzels to be found in the wilderness. By the way, the ticket is now available in the Pokémon Go store.

Those who choose not to purchase the event ticket for See Twice will benefit from the following bonuses by default during Community Day:

  • Samurzel appears more often in the wild. With luck, you may even encounter Iridescent Samurzel.
  • If you evolve Blanas (Samurzel’s evolution) during the event or up to two hours after, your Tengulist will learn the Bullet Seed attack.
  • Triple Catch XP
  • Smoke lasts for three hours during the event.
  • Buddy Pokémon that are at least your super buddy will bring you useful items like Pokéballs during the event.
  • Take a few snaps during Community Day – a surprise could be waiting for you!
  • In the store, you can buy a one-time Community Day bundle in May that includes a Top Instant TM, 30 Hyperballs, 3 times Smoke, and 3 Lucky Eggs.

It is already known that for completing the steps of See Twice, you will receive, among other things, three Smokes and five Golden Himmihberries. Dataminers have also discovered that the special research includes tasks such as “Catch 15 Samurzel,” “Develop a Blanas,” and “Develop 3 Samurzel” – so the steps will essentially be no different than the tasks for the Abra special research Examine Illusions. Below we are preparing for you the guide to the steps and rewards of the Samurzel special research See Twice, which we will add as soon as more information or the special research is available in the game.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
