PoGO – Pokémon GO: Poké Coins in the Galaxy Store up to 20% cheaper (Update)
THOSE: BUFFED

Owners of a Samsung smartphone can now download Pokémon Go from the Galaxy Store. The Galaxy Store version has the advantage that players can get Poké Coins much cheaper here. For example, Galaxy Store users only have to pay €87.99 for the largest package for €109.99. However, the Galaxy Store version offers another advantage.

Update 5/21/2019: The prices for Pokécoins from the Galaxy Store have been adjusted to the Google Store.

Since 10.5., the Pokémon Go app has also been available in the Galaxy Store. This means that Samsung smartphone owners can also download the app from Samsung’s own app store. Thanks to the split screen technology, players with Samsung devices now have the option to use two Pokémon Go versions with one account. That’s right, because if you install the Pokémon Go app once via the App Store and the Galaxy Store, you will now have two versions of the Pokémon app on your phone that you can launch twice with one account. Ergo, you will not be kicked out when logging in with the same account on the same phone.

The Galaxy Store also offers another big advantage: If you want to buy Poké Coins here, you will notice that Pokémon Coins are up to 20 percent cheaper than in the App and Play Store. In the Galaxy Store, 100 Poké Coins cost 87 cents instead of 99 cents, and for the largest package of 14,500 coins (109.99€), you’ll save a whopping 22 euros (87.99€) via the Galaxy Store. For users of both versions (app and Galaxy Store), this means that they can open one version with the expensive version and the other with the cheap version.

The prices for Pokécoins differ from country to country, and here and there players can even take advantage of this via a VPN connection to get Pokécoins for less. However, this is not entirely legal. A pro po legal: The second app version in the Galaxy Store makes it possible for players to have two games open on one device at the same time with one account for the time and to interact with them. We have already asked Niantic Support about this possible exploit, but so far there is no official statement. Those who buy the cheaper Poké Coins in the Galaxy Store do not take a risk, since the price is determined by the contracts between Samsung and Niantic.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
