The developers of Pokémon Go have understood that Mega Pokémon are not as super-efficient as they had initially expected. After bringing at least one new Mega Evolution into the game every month and then having several of them spawn simultaneously in the Mega Raids, they pulled the ripcord in the summer of 2021. Mega Absol as a raid boss
Like Absol itself, Mega Absol belongs to only one type, namely Unlight. Accordingly, it is best to use Battle Pokémon in battle. With 48,520 WP, Mega-Absol doesn’t have as many hit points as a Mega-Garados, but you should still go into battle with at least three other players for the raid if you want to be on the safe side. There is also speculation that you can do the battle with just two trainers, but they should be relatively high level and also have the perfect counters going.
Unlight Pokémon benefit from the weather boost in fog, but this will only be dangerous for your fighters if the Mega Absol has Psycho attacks. In other words, if your opponent has Psycho Blade as an instant attack, you might want to grab Mega Bibor or Togekiss for your team. Below are the current best counters for Mega Absol:

Pokémon Go: Catching Mega Absol
As already known, after defeating a Mega Pokémon, you will not catch Mega Absol, but a normal Absol. If you have successfully completed the battle against Mega-Absol, the freestyle follows after the duty and you have the chance to banish the pocket monster into your Pokéball.
