PoGO – Pokémon GO: Master Detective Pikachu Event Field Research List

PoGO – Pokémon GO: Master Detective Pikachu Event Field Research List
THOSE: NIANTIC

New event, new field research. Niantic has survived for the event for the release of Master Detective Pikachu special tasks, which you get as always via the photo discs. We you what you need to do for the new field explorations and what rewards await you.

Until May 17, the Detective Pikachu event is taking place in Pokémon Go. For the start of the movie Master Detective Pikachu appear in the game more Pokémon that are also seen on the screen. Among them are the Gen. 1 starters Glumanda, Bisasam and Schiggy, Pummeluff, Tragosso, Enton, Pantimos and many more. If you’re lucky, you’ll even run into a Schlurp or a ferocious Glurak! Shiny hunters should especially look at all the Griffels in their path, as the event unlocked the iridescent version of Griffel in the game.

A new event always means new field research. These are marked with “Master Detective Pikachu:” and are sometimes not clearly stated. Here you can see the special tasks and what you have to do for them.

  • Catch the seed Pokémon walking in the river (Bisasam).

Reward: Encounter with a Geckarbor

  • Catch the Water Pokémon carried in a backpack (Enton)

Reward: Encounter with a Karpador

  • Catch the Fire-type Evoli (Flamara)

Reward: Encounter with an Arkani

  • Catch ten Snubbull, Pummeluff or Griffon

Reward: Encounter with a Ditto (Disguised as a Zubat)

Keep in mind that Enton, Tragosso, Snubbull as well as the Gen. 1 starters are available as Shiny versions. If you’re still working on special field research and need a Ditto for that, be sure to keep an eye out for the catch quest for ten Snubbull, Pummeluff, or Griffel.

Don’t forget to catch the special Pikachu with the new cap by triggering it via photobombs. If you don’t know how photobombs work in Pokémon Go, we recommend our guide to Farbeagle – this is how you catch the photobombing rascal. By the way, Farbeagle will be replaced by the new Pikachu version until the end of the event.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
