PoGO – Pokémon Go: Kanto-Tour 2021 – Bonus-Event – Guide

Something went wrong with the Today View for the 2021 Kanto Tour in Pokémon Go, and to compensate those who paid for the ticket, there’s now a month-long opportunity to cash in on all sorts of items. We have the information on the Temporary Research for Kanto Tour replacement in the guide.

The Kanto Tour 2021, the attentive trainers of Pokémon Go still know, suffered from some bugs and errors. For about six hours, for example, the Today view in the game did not work. However, this was essential for players who paid cash for the Kanto Tour ticket, because the catch challenges for ticket holders were displayed in the Today view. Stupid if that didn’t work properly.

During the event, the developers at Niantic fixed the problem, so that the twelve-hour event could then run more or less smoothly. Nevertheless, they have announced a compensation, and what this compensation event for the Kanto Tour includes, we explain to you in this guide. Attention! As already mentioned, this event is only active for Pokémon Go players who have paid for the Kanto Ticket!

  • The replacement event for Kanto Tour ticket holders will begin on March 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM and end on April 5, 2021 at 10:00 AM. This means you have one month to complete the Temporary Research.
  • During them, you can earn the following items: 30 x Hyperball, a Lock Module, a Knursp, a Super Incubator, a Lucky Egg, 3 x Silver Sanana Berry, a Star Piece, a Top Instant TM, a Top Charge TM, a Charge TM, an Instant TM, and 100 Mew Candies.
  • In the store, you’ll find a free bundle with 3 x Remote Raid Pass. Remember that you can only keep three Remote Raid Passes in your inventory at this time.

Players who have unintentionally gained access to the Kanto Tour tick content will still be able to complete the Kanto Tour Special Research steps.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
