Pokémon GO is holding its third Community Day tomorrow, March 25, 2018. On this occasion, you can catch a special Bisasam, which – if you evolve it to Bisaflor – can learn the skill Flora Statue. In addition, you can probably also encounter Bisasam in the Shiny variant. All the details about this and everything else you need to know about the event, we explain in detail here in our guide.
Tomorrow, March 25, 2018, is the day when the third Community Day in Pokémon GO will take place. While you were able to catch a special Pikachu during the first Community Day and a special Dratini during the second, this time you can hunt for Bisasam. If you evolve Bisasam into Bisaflor during the event, it will learn the special attack Flora Statue. This is a rechargeable attack that should redefine Bisaflor’s position as one of the best plant Pokémon in the game.
By the way, as with the second Community Day, you don’t necessarily have to evolve a Bisasam caught during the event into Bisaflor. All Bisasams evolved into Bisaflor during the event will learn the special attack, even if you’ve caught them before. So be sure to save any Bisasam candies you have until the event so you can evolve your Pokémon as quickly as possible.
However, the third Community Day has a lot more to offer, including probably the Shiny variant of Bisasam. To make your hunt for Bisasam as successful as possible, we have summarized a number of tips for you based on an article from Pokemongohub. With this, you should be perfectly prepared for your excursion into the countryside during Community Day. Let’s go!
Pokémon GO: Community Day – No. 3 – General tips for the event
For the third Community Day, keep the following general tips in mind to help you succeed in your hunt for Bisasam:
- Pay attention to the weather forecast: you’ll catch stronger Bisasams in sunny or cloudy weather.
- Visit your favorite catch locations early to be there in time for the start of the event.
- Make sure you have your lure modules set up for the entire duration of the event.
- Catch everything you see – the faster you’ll earn experience points.
- Use smoke to attract Pokémon (and hopefully Bisasam).
- Increase the amount of experience points you collect by keeping lucky eggs active during the event.
Pokémon GO: Community Day – No. 3 – How long does the event last?
You have a total of three hours on March 25 to participate in the third Community Day. In Europe, the event is expected to take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. German time – so you have a total of three hours to grab the special Bisasam.
Pokémon GO: Community Day – No. 3 – Everything you need to know about Bisasam
If you want to catch Bisasam as often as possible during the event, you need to be aware of a few details. Bisasam, like Pikachu, has a base catch chance of 20 percent, which is less than Dratini. So you should try to maximize your chances with good Pokéball throws. Unfortunately, Bisasam isn’t the easiest to catch – its hit box is quite small. It’s best to practice your throws at medium range in advance, for example with Rattfratz.
Overall, the catch rates are as follows, depending on the Pokéball and throw for Bisasam:
- Normal Pokéball: 30 to 50 percent
- Superball: 41 to 65 percent
- Hyperball: 50 to 75 percent
If you catch Bisaflor without a weather boost, it has 841 CP at level 30 with 100 percent IV. In sunny or crowded weather, this number increases to 911 CP for a level 35 Bissam – making it the best Bisasam you can catch in the wild. The minimum CP at level 35 for Bisasam is 661, and the maximum is 911. A full table of CP by level can be found directly at Pokemongohub.
Pokémon GO: Community Day – No. 3 – These are the items you shouldn’t miss out on
To make sure that your hunt for Bisasam at the third Community Day is a complete success, you should definitely take the following items with you:
- At least 250 Pokeballs: Pack a healthy mix of normal Pokeballs, Super Balls and Hyper Balls.
- Three Lure Modules: Each lure module will last for three hours at Community Day. Distribute the lure modules at your favorite catch locations.
- Six units of smoke: As mentioned above, keep smoke active at all times.
- Six Lucky Eggs: Again, keep the Lucky Eggs bonus active all the time to bag six times the amount of experience points.
- Pokémon GO Plus: If you have this gadget, you should definitely use it on Community Day to speed up your Pokémon hunt a bit.

Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
