With the second week of the event Illuminating Legends Y, the now eighth evolution of Evoli is available in Pokémon Go: Feelinara. In the quick guide, we explain how you can evolve Feelinara – via the name trick or via buddy hearts.
The eighth Evoli evolution is now available in Pokémon Go: Feelinara. And as it is with Evoli evolutions, it is not just available to you, but you must first fulfill a few requirements. What you have to do for a Feelinara in Pokémon Go, we tell you in the short guide.
Feelinara: The name trick
Only once per Pokémon Go account Go account, you can trigger an Evoli evolution by changing the name of the Evoli you have chosen. For Feelinara, the name you need to use is Kira. So just rename your Evoli to “Kira”, invest 25 Evoli candies in developing it, and voila, you have your first Feelinara. As a reminder, here’s the list of other name tricks for Evoli in Pokémon Go. Remember, this type of targeted evolution only works once!
- Evoli with the name Rainer becomes Aquana
- Evoli with the name Sparky becomes Blitza
- Evoli with the name Pyro becomes Flamara
- Evoli with the name Sakura becomes Psiana
- Evoli with the name Tamao becomes Nachtara
- Evoli with the name Linnea becomes Folipurba
- Evoli with the name Rea becomes Glaziola
- Evoli with the name Kira becomes Feelinara
Aquana, Blitza and Flamara cannot be developed specifically apart from the name trick.
Feelinara: Your buddy
If you want to have more Feelinara, you have to choose an Evoli to be your buddy, in the best case of course the Evoli you also want to make Feelinara. With this Evoli you have to earn 70 buddy hearts. Once you have done that, you can turn your Evoli into a Feelinara.
The other evolutions
Glaziola and Folipurba are obtained specifically as follows: If you stand at a Pokéstop with a Glacier Lock Module and evolve Evoli, your Evoli is guaranteed to become a Glaziola. If you are at a Pokéstop with a Moss Lock Module, your Evoli will evolve into a Folipurba. However, make sure that your avatar is really under the Pokéstop.
Psiana and Nachtara can be obtained as follows: Run ten kilometers (or better, a little more than 10 kilometers) and collect two candies with your buddy Evoli. Important: This also applies during events where you can collect a bonus for less than five kilometers. If you develop your buddy during the day, you’ll get a Psiana, and at night you’ll get a Night Macaw. You can use this trick as often as you like. However, the Evoli must still be your buddy!
Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
