Raid against Stalobor – General info and attacks

  • When you go up against Stalobor, keep the following details in mind:
  • As a raid boss, Stalobor has 255 attack, 129 defense, and 9,000 stamina with 30,737 raid boss WP.
  • You can catch Stalobor with the following WP values: 1,770-1,853 (level 20) or 2,212-2,317 (with weather boost at level 25).
  • Stalobor receives a weather boost from sunny weather and snow as a Ground/Steel-type Pokémon.

Stalobor reacts weakly to Water, Ground, Fire, and Fighting type attacks.

In addition, Stalobor can use the following attacks:

  • Metal Claw (normal attack, steel type).
  • Clay clam (normal attack, ground type)
  • Earthquake (charge attack, ground type)
  • Iron skull (charging attack, steel type)
  • Stone hail (charge attack, rock type)
  • Percussion Drill (Charge Attack, Ground Type)

Raid against Stalobor – Weather effects

When you go up against Stalobor, you can take advantage of the various weather effects – as you’re used to in Pokémon GO. Specifically, note the following weather effects on your battle against Stalobor:

  • Sunny: boost to fire and ground counters, boost to Stalobor’s attacks.
  • Clay Clam, Earthquake and Percussion Drill
  • Partly Cloudy: Boost for Stalobor’s Stone Hail
  • Cloudy: boost for combat counters
  • Windy: no effect
  • Rainy: Boost for water counter
  • Snow: Boost for Stalobor’s Metal Claw and Iron Skull
  • Fog: no effect

Raid vs. Stalobor – The Best Counter Pokémon

Now it’s down to the nitty gritty, namely the counter Pokémon against Stalobor. As mentioned before, Stalobor is sensitive to attacks of Water, Ground, Fire and Fighting type. Therefore, the following counter Pokémon are particularly suitable for putting Stalobor in its place as quickly as possible:
