Limited research with owei and aLoLa kokowei with strong attack

On Saturday, April 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the limited research “Egg Message: Spring Surprise” will be available. You will need to rotate PokéStops photo discs to receive tasks for this research! If you complete the research, you’re guaranteed an encounter with Owei, and with a little luck, it will even show up in its iridescent form.

This may sound boring to some, but the developers of Pokémon Go have come up with a little something that will make you sit up and take notice! Draco Meteor does a whopping 150 damage in Trainer Battles and Arena/Raid Battles!

During the three-hour period of limited research, you will receive double experience points for each Pokémon you capture. The bonuses from “Hop into Spring” are also active. The following Pokémon are more common during “Egg Message: Spring Surprise” more often in the wild and, with a little luck, show up in iridescent form:

GO Fight Day: Beginner’s Paradise

On Sunday, April 17, 2022, a fighting event will take place from 00:00 until the end of the day. This event is intended to bring the Battle closer to those who rarely enter the arena and fight against other trainers. There will be battles in the Super League (Pokémon up to a maximum of 1,500 WP) and in the Mini Cup (Pokémon up to a maximum of 500 WP). The battle day is definitely exciting and you can look forward to the following bonuses:

A limited research will be available, for which you will receive tons of XP!
If you complete a battle set (the rank does not matter), you will receive the Gladio hoodie for your avatar.

ALoLa? ALoLa!

Even during the spring event, the ALoLa – Season is not forgotten. Starting April 12, 2022, you can pick up the Ula-Ula Island Special Research and learn more about the ALoLa region. If you complete this special research, you will unlock a bonus special research at the end of ALoLa – Season on June 1, 2022. We have guides for the steps of the special researches A Mele-Mele Adventure, An Akala Adventure, An Ula-Ula Adventure, and A Poni Adventure – the unlinked special researches are still coming in April and May 2022.

Kapu-Toro will make its debut in Pokémon Go during the Spring event. The patron saint of the ALoLa island of Poni has a close bond with plants and can sprout beautiful fields of flowers out of nowhere. The Pokémon of the type Fairy and Plant therefore fits perfectly into the spring. If you want to prepare for the battle against the legendary ALoLa Pokémon, pick up a few from our guide.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
