PoGO – Pokémon Go: First super rare, now cheaper by the dozen – Kapuno

After the developers of Pokémon Go have been stingy with the dragon Pokémon Kapuno without end, there was even a wave of accusations against the creators of the game, the people from Niantic are now throwing Kapuno around as if it were a sale. Don’t miss out on this one!

Heavens to Betsy, what hasn’t there been around Kapuno in Pokémon Go. Most fans will remember the big pang in August 2020, when the folks at Niantic wanted to raise the spawn rate of the super rare Kapuno as part of Dragon Week – and demonstrably didn’t, as the hardcore theorycrafters at TheSilphRoad found out at the time.

We apparently have to “just” fast-forward a year and a half from then to finally get what we as fans want: lots and lots of Kapuno!

Kapuno in research breakthrough December 2021

The Kapuno round started in December 2021 with the Research Breakthrough December 2021. Starting on the 1st of the month at 10:00 p.m. and continuing until January 1, 2022 at 10:00 p.m., you can draw a total of five Kapuno from the reward box – provided you’ve already picked up the one directly on the 1st and are looking to maximize profits.

Logically, to collect the stickers for the research breakthrough, you’ll have to complete a field research on seven different days. It’s a pity that this time (at least so far) there’s no encounter with Kapuno to get hold of.

Kapuno from 10km eggs (adventure sync)

Throughout the origin – Season , which lasts until March 1, 2021, you’ll be lucky enough to hatch Kapuno from 10km adventure sync eggs. However, you will only get these eggs once a week to settle the weekly adventure sync, which happens on Mondays at 09:00.

In other words, you’ll have 13 chances to hatch Kapuno via the 10k adventure sync eggs. However, there is one challenge you have to fulfill: you will only get these 10km adventure sync eggs if you cover 50 kilometers via adventure sync during the week. We wish you good luck with the hatching, because besides Kapuno, Kindwurm, Tanhel, Dratini, Riolu or eF-eM can also hop out of the egg.

A bonus: Kapuno is also one of the ten Pokémon to hatch from a Team 12km egg.

Kapuno on the December 2021 Stardust Challenge.

It’s the – Season of origin and it’s December, so get busy and earn at least 85,000 stardust by Dec. 31, 2021, because then you’ll get an encounter with Kapuno as a reward, you guessed it. Too bad at this point: none of the spotlight hours in December 2021 offer a bonus to stardust. Try the Battle , too, because …

Kapuno on Combat League – Season 10.

If you reach the expert rank in the 10th – Season of the Battle League, which is active at least until March 2022, then you are also guaranteed to get a Kapuno in the collection. Understandable though, if you don’t want to farm …

Isn’t that enough for you guys?

Considering the rarity that Kapuno usually represents in Pokémon Go, this is a blatant oversupply. If you’re on the hunt for Kapuno and don’t strike now, you’ll have to take a look at your own nose. ^^

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
