Since the three dragons are counted among the most powerful -Pokémon currently available in the game, every player naturally wants to get their hands on at least one. In order for you to pass the battle challenge against Reshiram, we have a counter-guide for you below! We wish you a lot of fun in the hunt!

Pokémon Go: Reshiram as a raid boss

The legendary one-all dragon Reshiram is assigned to the types dragon and fire. While Reshiram himself is naturally a strong fire attacker, he is primarily vulnerable to dragon, ground, and rock fighters due to his types. Reshiram’s raid boss CP is 53,394, but it can still be played as a duo in theory with the right weather boost, a best friend bonus, and high-level trainers. To be on the safe side, though, it’s better to play with 5 to 7 high-level trainers or 8 to 10 lower-level players.

When Reshiram is boosted in sunny (or windy, for that matter) weather, its potential fire attacks Fire Fang and Heat Fury really pack a punch – but these two attacks also make it the best fire attacker in the game. On the other hand, it gets super nasty if the Reshiram you raided is able to use the dragon attacks Fire Ember and Draco Meteor. Because then the alarm bell lights up for all your dragon attackers. Therefore, always make sure you have a good mix of ground/rock and dragon fighters so that your pocket monsters come out victorious even against Reshiram’s nasty skill combos. Two other charge attacks that Reshiram can master are Stone Edge (Rock) and Crunch (Unlight) – Crunch won’t threaten you in most cases, but Stone Edge does super-effective damage against dragons. If the Reshiram in the battle arena has this attack in its repertoire, make sure you include dragons with flight, such as Brutalanda and Dragoran.

Tip: Before Reshiram gets into Tier 5 Raids in Pokémon Go, Terrakium is in – an effective counter for Reshiram! Here is the counter guide to Terrakium.

We wish you good luck in your hunt!

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
