Now it’s official: The Community Day in Pokémon Go in March 2021 has a date, a protagonist as well as an exclusive attack and other bonuses. In the guide, we have all the information for you, including the steps and rewards of the Dartiri special research “In a nosedive ahead”.

Update from February 17, 2021: If you still doubted that Community Day in March 2021 would revolve around Dartiri, you now have certainty – the makers of Pokémon Go have officially confirmed it. Fiaro, the second evolution of Dartiri, will learn the exclusive attack Incinerate as part of the event, a triple catch XP bonus will be active, and of course you can store the special research “In a Plunge Ahead” for 0.99 euros via the event ticket. Whether there will be a limited research is not 100 percent sure yet, because there is no mention of it in the official announcement. We have added all the important information about the Community Day in March 2021 for you and marked it in color.

Original news from February 16, 2021: Unsurprisingly for fans of Pokémon Go, a Community Day will be held in March 2021. And the developers at Niantic are also already hinting at which pocket monster trainers will be able to rally around then. Officially, there’s a picture of claw marks in the wilderness and the hint that it’s a Pokémon from the Kalos region, i.e. a mon from Generation 6. And since the claw marks are relatively clear, the community assumes that Community Day in March 2021 will revolve around Dartiri – which would make the Normal and Flight mon the from the Kalos region that you can get as a Shiny. By the way, there is no date for the event yet.

PoGO – Pokémon Go: Community Day in March 2021 with Dartiri - Guide to The Early BirdThe following activities and bonuses can be expected for Community Day in March 2021 in Pokémon Go:

  • Evolve Dartignis during the event or up to two hours afterward so Fiaro can learn the exclusive Incinerate attack.
  • Take some snapshots during Community Day – you might be in for a surprise!
  • In the store, you can buy a one-time Community Day box with Dartiri for 1,280 PokéCoins, which includes 50 Hyperballs, 5 Lucky Eggs, a Knursp, and a Top Instant TM. For $0.99, you can unlock a Community Day-exclusive special research: The Early Bird (previously: In the Plunge Ahead).

  • There is three times the catch XP when you catch a Pokémon

On top of that, there will probably be a stardust bonus during the event. As usual, the trainers among you will be able to get a free Temporary Research in addition to a paid Special Research. Attention! We interpolate from the Community Days of the past months a guide for the individual steps and rewards to the CD with Dartiri, and expand the information completely and correctly as soon as the information is known. In general, however, the steps from Temporary Research as well as Special Research to Community Days are similar when compared to previous events if no special items such as Stones are required to evolve the Pocket Monster.

Update from March 6, 2021: All steps and rewards of the Special Research The Early Bird are known and have been updated in the following guide, so you can still decide if you want to buy it or not. It should be noted here that the rewards for The Early Bird are less extensive than for past Community Day special researches. For example, the Knursp, which used to be guaranteed in the research, is no longer available, and there are also fewer special candies. There is no limited research.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
