It’s that time of year again: A new month brings a new box sale to Pokémon GO. We explain to you which offers are worth your money and which purchase you should rather think twice about.
These are exciting times for trainers in Pokémon GO: Raids, Team Rocket and the like demand a lot of attention – and lots of items. The current box sale in November 2019 is therefore just right for some players. But not all offers are suitable for every type of trainer. Based on the analysis of Pokemongohub, we explain which box is worth buying and which one is better left alone.
The offer of the November boxes looks in detail as follows:
Box | Special Box | Hyperbox | Adventure Box |
Contents | 4x Raid Pass | 17x Raid Pass | 4x Egg Incubator |
1x Super Hatchery | 2x Super Hatchery | 12x Super Hatchery
2x Star Piece | 10x Top Potion | 10x Top Potion
3x Lucky Egg | 3x Lucky Egg
Price | 480 Pokécoins | 1.480 Pokécoins | 1.480 Pokécoins |
The special box offers you a savings of 220 Poké Coins based on the value of the included items. This corresponds to 31.4 percent compared to buying the items individually. If you don’t want to spend a lot of money, but you’re looking forward to the upcoming raids against the Regi Trio, you can’t go wrong with buying the special box – it’s a fair offer.
Those who buy the Hyperbox will save a total of 1,009 Pokécoins compared to buying the items individually, which is a total savings of 40.5 percent. With 17 raid passes, the Hyperbox proves to be a good deal – but only for those who want to focus on the upcoming Regi Raids. The other items included are a nice bonus at best and not really worth mentioning.
The Adventure Box, on the other hand, is once again aimed at trainers who want to hatch eggs en masse. With a total of 1,909 saved Poké Coins, the box offers the best price-performance ratio of 56.3 percent savings compared to the purchase of individual items. Because the other boxes lack larger amounts of hatchers, the Adventure Box offers a decent alternative for egg-focused players – though it falls short of previous Adventure Box offerings.
Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
