Bidiza is completely out of control. The Bidiza Takeover 2021 is already active in Pokémon Go, but it gets a notch more blatant with the Bidiza Tag. The comes with Bidiza in Raids and with its own special research. You can find all information about steps and rewards in our guide.
Update from June 29, 2021: The makers of Pokémon Go have already announced it and now you will also learn how the Bidiza outbreak will change even further, namely with Bidiza Day on July 1, 2021 between 10:00 am and 8:00 pm. Team Rocket also resorts to Crypto-Bidiza more frequently in teams. Additionally, the Battle League runs the Bidiza Cup, where only Bidiza may be used, is logical. And you get a special research with several steps, rewards and – new! – decisions, which in turn influence the plot of the special research and the event. Original news from June 16, 2021: The creators of Pokémon Go have put their little grey cells to work and come up with a new kind of event. This is the Bidiza Outbreak, which will bring Shiny Bidiza and all sorts of bonuses to the game starting June 25, 2021. The cool thing about the event is that it will continue to “strengthen” over time, for example, catch XP bonuses will increase as more days of the five-day event pass.
Bidiza and Bidifas with special attacks.
Not only do more and more Bidiza appear in the wild during the event and are also acquired by Team Rocket as Crypto variants, but Bidiza also learn selected attacks on certain days. This shapes up in detail as follows:
During the event, wild Bidiza will master attacks in phases that they normally can’t learn. On Thursday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (local time), you can use a charging TM to teach Bidiza any of these attacks. After the event, you’ll still be able to do so with a top charge TM. During these periods, you will encounter Bidiza with special attacks:
- Haunted Ball: Friday, June 25, 2021 at 10 a.m. until Saturday, June 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (local time).
- Thunderbolt: Sunday, June 27, 2021 at 0 a.m. until Monday, June 28, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (local time)
- Ice Ray: Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 0 a.m. until Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 11:59 p.m. (local time)
- If you evolve Bidiza during the event, your Bidifas will learn the Hyper Beam attack
The rolling Catch XP bonuses again play out as follows:
- Double Catch XP: June 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. to June 26, 2021 at 11:59 p.m.
- Triple Catch XP: June 27, 2021 at 00:00 to June 28, 2021 at 23:59
- Quadruple Catch EP: June 29, 2021 at 00:00 to June 30, 2021 at 23:59
And on top of that, that’s not all. On June 28, 2021, which is Monday, the developers from Niantic want to release even more information about the Bidiza outbreak. In doing so, they use words like “unshakable” and “inevitable.” That could be a hint at the news. Into the blue, we have a hunch that this might have something to do with the legendary Galar Pokémon Zacian and Zamazenta, in whose connection such terms are used – though this has less to do with Bidiza, of which there is no Galar version either. We are curious and will keep you up to date!
Pokémon GO
Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.
Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights
Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.
Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.
Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More
The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from Pokemon.gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
