With the Ultra Bonus Unlock, Pokémon also has new offers for the Special Box, Super Box, and Hyper Box. Whether and for which trainers in Pokémon Go the offers are worthwhile this time, has already been analyzed for you. Trainers who want to collect stardust attach importance to the Superbox, while experience point hunters prefer to store for the Ultrabox. However, the Special Box is also worth considering!

With the launch of the Ultra Bonus Unlock in Pokémon Go, there are also new offers for the Special Box, the Super Box and the Hyperbox in the in-game store. As a reminder, the Ultra Bonus Unlock brings with it more frequently spawning Kanto Pokémon as well as increased Kanto Pokémon in . Mewtu, Lavados, Zapdos, and Arktos appear in Tier 5 Raids, and you can also grab regional Pokémon like Pantimos, Porenta, and Kangama from 7k ALoLa Eggs. So with the deals on the three boxes, it’s not just Raid Passes that are interesting, but Hatcheries as well – at least if you’re one of the raiding trainers, or if you’re looking to complete your collections of Gen 1 Pokémon. Which boxes are worthwhile as and which are not? As usual, we have listed the contents of the boxes for you below.

2 x Star Piece2 x Lure Module8 x Premium Raid Pass

The PoGo fans at Pokémon Go Hub have of course also looked at the contents of the boxes and include the fact that the standard prices for Lucky Eggs (80 Pokécoins) and Smoke (80 Pokécoins) are not worth it in their assessment. So instead, the contents of Special Box (contains Smoke) and Hyperbox (contains Smoke and Lucky Eggs) are based on the prices of the 8-pack bundles, which are 500 Pokécoins each.

Based on that, here’s the conclusions: The special Ultra Bonus Unlock box is one of the most worthwhile so far. Not only do you save a good amount of coins on the egg incubators, but the Sanana Berries are also worth it for the trainers among you who want to complete their Pokédex. The only catch to the special box is that there are no Raid Passes included at all. But if the amount of coins is scarce and you don’t care about Raids anyway, but want to focus more on the Kanto section of your Pokédex, then you should grab it. If you have more coins available, though, you’ll want to grab the Super Box.

The Super Box is suitable for the trainers who are mainly keen on stardust; that’s what the lure modules and star pieces are for. The amount of raid passes and super brood machines is also perfectly fine for the price. You’ll only consider the hyperbox if you have the coins lying around anyway, and if you value the lucky eggs for the XP grind more than the stardust buffs. The savings differences between Superbox and Hyperbox are actually rather marginal, so it depends more on your preferences.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
