PoGO – Pokémon Go: An Akala Adventure – ALoLa Special Research Guide

As part of the ALoLa – Season , Pokémon Go trainers can expect some shorter special explorations on the different ALoLa Islands. Since March 22, 2022, there is also “An Akala Adventure” in addition to “A Mele Mele Adventure” – we have all the steps and rewards in the guide!

Rejoice, fans of the cultivated pocket monster collecting fun, because with the event Shadow Jungle in the AR game Pokémon Go has also been unlocked a new special research for the ALoLa – Season . It’s called “An Akala Adventure” and here in the guide we’ll give you all the information on the four steps and the rewards. As indicated, this special research is part of the current Pokémon Go – Season and one of several. Below you will find links to the guides for the other island special researches – if they are already available.

In total, you can expect five special researches, which we will provide you with a guide as soon as they are available:

  • A Mele-Mele adventure (from March 1, 2022)
  • An Akala adventure (from March 22)
  • An Ula-Ula adventure (from April 12)
  • A Poni adventure (from May 10)
  • ALoLa to ALoLa (from May 25, 2022)

An Akala Adventure – Step 1/4

  • Catch 10 Pokémon – Reward: 10 x Pokéball
  • Complete 3 field quests – Reward: Encounter with Pikachu
  • Catch 7 Pokémon of different types – Reward: 5 x Sanana Berry

Reward for completing Step 1: Encounter with Imantis, 500 XP, 500 Stardust

An Akala Adventure – Step 2/4

  • Catch 2 Water-type Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with Mamolida
  • Take three snapshots of a Fire-type Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with ALoLa Knogga
  • Use 4 Berries while catching Pokémon – Reward: Encounter with Parasek

Reward for completing Step 2: 1 x Charging TM, 500 XP, 500 Stardust

An Akala Adventure – Step 3/4

  • Level Pokémon 10 times – Reward: 7 x Himmihberry
  • Run 2 kilometers – Reward: 10 x Pokéball
  • Take 3 snapshots of wild Pokémon – Reward: 10 x Sanana Berry

Reward for completing Step 3: 1 x Premium Battle Pass, 1,000 XP, 1,000 Stardust

An Akala Adventure – Step 4/4

  • Catch 15 Pokémon – Reward: 7 x Sanana Berry
  • Send 5 gifts – Reward: 10 x Superball
  • Win 1 Raid – Reward: Encounter with ALoLa Digda

Reward for completing Step 4: 15 x Hyperball, 8,000 XP, 3,000 Stardust

You have the entire ALoLa – Season in Pokémon Go to successfully complete the various special researches and collect all the rewards – and since they are normal special researches, you should be able to complete them even beyond that. But the faster you’re on the ball, the less you’ll have to catch up in the end or get into trouble in terms of time. It is now known (as of April 12, 2022) that you must complete all previous ALoLa – Season special research by June 1, 2022 in order to receive the final special research from May 25, 2022.

Pokémon GO

Pokémon Go is the mobile spin-off of Nintendo’s popular Pokémon game series for Android and iOS. It is a so-called “location-based game”, i.e. a game that uses the player’s immediate surroundings. It is based on the principle of augmented reality.

Pokémon Map: Between landmarks and sights

Pokémon Go uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) to determine the player’s location and displays it on a map that also represents the playing field. The map is based on OpenStreetMap maps. The game is played mostly outdoors and uses landmarks, landmarks and other notable or eye-catching objects in the world to position either PokéStops or arenas there for you to battle for supremacy. Join either Team Intuition (Team Yellow, Zapdos), Team Wisdom (Team Blue, Arktos), or Team Daring (Team Red, Lavados). Under their flag you can then fight for the arenas, which are placed at hotspots like churches or similar. Pokémon can appear anywhere, though.

Pocket monsters visible on the Pokémon Go Map are randomly loaded into the game’s virtual map by the game server. If several players are playing in the same location, each player can see and catch the Pokémon independently of the others.

Pokémon Go Updates, News, Raids and More

The developers at Niantic regularly provide Pokémon Go with new updates or special raids that should only be tackled in a group of several people. The Pokémon Go Raids are therefore very popular, as they also offer the prospect of particularly rare Pokémon. For example, in the past, legendary Pokémon could always be caught on special occasions (Pokémon Go events). For particularly eager mobile or smartphone Pokémon trainers, there is also an external IV calculator, such as the online tool from .gameinfo.io or on Pokefans.net, to check the values of your Pokémon.
