Valorant is slowly approaching the end of Episode 2 Act 3 and players are looking forward to some big changes in Episode 3. Before that happens, Riot will be releasing Valorant Patch 2.11. See everything about the Valorant Patch 2.11 release date and more here.
If you remember, Valorant never got a 2.10 patch and we were stuck with 2.09. The reason? Riot is updating their engine for the game. Either that, or a completely different reason they’re trying to hide. In any case, this resulted in Valorant patch 2.11 being delayed by two weeks.
Nevertheless, Valorant Patch 2.11 will be more than welcome, as the game usually gets a new update every two weeks. The latest one is already almost a month old, as 2.09 came out on May 11.
What is the Valorant Patch 2.11 Release Date?
Riot themselves have set the release date of Patch 2.11 for June 8. More specifically, “around June 8”, and that could mean – today, tomorrow, or later than that. Our guess is that Valorant Patch 2.11 will be released tomorrow at the latest, as players will be expecting the launch of Episode 3 two weeks later on June 22.
Valorant Patch 2.11: What We Can Expect
Riot Games has already revealed that they have some big changes in mind with Episode 3 Act 1. This means that we shouldn’t expect too much from patch 2.11. We might see some balance changes, but the promised Yoru buffs will probably be postponed to a later date. Our guess is that Valorant Patch 2.11 will be a smaller patch, offering mostly bug fixes, quality-of-life improvements, and some minor tweaks before the launch of Episode 3. We will keep you updated as soon as the official patch notes are released!
What are you expecting? Are you looking forward to Valorant Patch 2.11 at all, or will it be completely overshadowed by the upcoming Episode 3? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter!
What are Patchnotes?
Patchnotes are specially designed to appear only in the appropriate places.
What is Valorant?
Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.
Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.
The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.
Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
