So far, at least a handful of patch notes have been leaked for each Valorant patch. Patch 1.06, however, is well under wraps. What could be coming?
Since the launch on June 2, we’ve seen 5 Valorant patches. Buffs, nerfes, new agents, new maps, and much more have been extracted for us by the dataminers and leak-fleckers.
But now even they seem to be at their wit’s end. Valorant Patch 1.06 is Area 5, and the only confirmed information we have is the release date tomorrow, August 20.
Everything else is wild speculation. But let’s take a plunge into the unknown – into the wonderful half-knowledge of the community. There, we can certainly recognize a canon in the confusion of feedback.
Possible changes in Valorant Patch 1.06
Although Valorant was celebrated for running on just about any potato computer, there’s little left of the euphoria. The server problems are really getting to Riot. That would be a good construction site, Riot! But the agents could also use a bit more balancing here and there.
Killjoy Nerf
Killjoy is not necessarily OP, but there are some voices that wish to nerf their nanoswarm:
Sage Nerf
In the non-professional Valorant, there is still one dominant pick: Sage. Her Abilities continue to be far too attractive, which is why just about every Squad has a Sage. Maybe that will change with a proper nerf.
Viper Buff
She is and remains simply unpopular. Viper’s pick rate is still in the basement. There would have to be a big change here to bump the toxic green agent up to the level of a Jett. Will Riot buff her sensibly this time or are they tired of the fans’ complaining and do nothing? I guess we’ll see the day after tomorrow.

What are Patchnotes?
Patchnotes are specially designed to appear only in the appropriate places.
What is Valorant?
Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.
Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.
The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.
Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
