We just got a new agent with KAY/O, and already Riot Games teases another new Valorant agent. Riot’s Year One Anthem video gives some hints about the new Valorant agent Deadeye. We have all the info.

New agents in Valorant are always big news. We just recently got more info on the new agent KAY/O and the patch notes for Episode 3 Act 1 were leaked. Now Riot Games has released a new video to celebrate Valorant’s one year anniversary. The video is called “Year One Anthem” and teases a new agent named Deadeye and looks pretty cool as it is. The numerous small teasers in the video have directly appealed to the community. It seems that the teasers point to the new Valorant agent Deadeye.

Who is the new Valorant agent Deadeye?

According to our buddy ValorLeaks on Twitter, the new Valorant agent listens to the working title Deadeye and could become a duelist. And honestly, he kind of reminds us of Midas from Fortnite. Here is the leak with some fancy pictures of Deadeye:

Another thing that stands out in the pictures is the weapon that Deadeye is holding. We don’t know of any weapon that looks like that at the moment – so it could well be that we get a new weapon with Deadeye. Or maybe the weapon is connected to one of Deadeye’s abilities….

Riot promised in the past to release up to 6 agents per year and so far there was Astra and KAY/O in 2021. So another agent for the next act would definitely fit the schedule. So far, however, Riot has not commented on Valorant’s new agent, Deadeye.

When is the Valorant Agent Deadeye release date?

So far nothing else is known about Agent Deadeye, but a release with Episode 3 Act 2 would be quite conceivable. As soon as we know more about Valorant’s new Agent Deadeye, we will of course keep you updated.

What is Valorant?

Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.

Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.

The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.

Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
