Riot Games has released a new hotfix for the closed beta of Valorant overnight. Among other things, the small update fixes the serious bug with agent Cypher and some other problems. The update is already available in Europe, players from North America will have to wait until tonight.
Bye-bye, spycam bug. With the just released hotfix for the tactical shooter Valorant, the developers Riot Games once again prove how quickly they react to problems.
Valorant Beta Hotfix released
The new hotfix for the Valorant Beta takes care of some bugs and problems of the Free2Play shooter. Only yesterday, a serious bug became known, which allowed the agent Cypher to cause massive damage with his spycam. The ability was actually only supposed to detect the movements of opponents.
Former PUBG pro Mike “sharky” Garit accidentally came across the game-breaker during his livestream. The bug is supposed to be fixed today with the new bugfix.

So Riot Games proves not only humor, but that they react quickly to serious problems. Other improvements in the new Valorant hotfix include:
- Some map exploits have been fixed
- Fixed an audio issue that occurred during several consecutive matches
The beta update will be automatically downloaded for European players when they start the game. The rollout on North American servers should happen in a few hours.

What is Valorant?
Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.
Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.
The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.
Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
