Valorant is currently in its Episode 2 Act 3, but that will change later this month when Patch 3.0 is expected to be released with the start of Episode 3 Act 1. Here’s everything we know so far about the Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 release date.
It’s definitely safe to say that Valorant’s Episode 2 Act 3 was not what many of us expected. Until its release, Riot Games introduced a new agent to the squad with each new act. The current one was different, as it couldn’t fulfill the agent part. In exchange, the brand new map Breeze was added. We didn’t get many teasers for Agent 16 in Valorant, but that will probably change soon the closer the release date of Episode 3 Act 1 gets.
When is the Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 release date?
If there’s one thing we’re sure about Valorant Episode 3 Act 1, it’s the release date: it’s supposed to be June 22. Two reasons lead us to believe this. First, the current Battle Pass ends on June 21 and from what we’ve seen so far, the day after that is usually the “big patch day”. The second reason has to do with the upcoming patch 2.11, after skipping patch 2.10. We are currently in patch 2.09 and Riot has decided to skip patch 2.10. This means that 2.11 is expected to be released on June 8.
Considering that Valorant patches come out every two weeks, this fits perfectly. If 2.11 is released on June 8, it makes perfect sense to expect Patch 3.0 and Episode 3 Act 1 on June 22.
Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 – What can we expect?
When it comes to the patch notes themselves, we can only guess. We probably won’t see a new map, but the next agent in the series has already been teased. Agent 16 in Valorant is codenamed Grenadier and since Riot is already dropping hints, it’s guaranteed to come. Read all about the new Agent 16 in our article about him:
Valorant Episode 3 Act 1 will not only be a new act, but also the beginning of a new episode. It’s safe to assume that Riot has something big planned for the release. The recent Duality lore cinematic hints that we will learn more about Valorant’s lore in the near future.
A new game mode is also not out of the question. Balance changes and the long-promised buffs for Yoru are also guaranteed. Yes, we remember. Just the other day, Riot confirmed that buffs for Yoru are coming. However, we might not see them on the day of the big patch, but a few weeks later.
We want to release customizations for Breach, Skye, Yoru and Astra.

What is Valorant?
Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and Overwatch . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.
Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.
The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.
Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
