Patch Notes - New Valorant Mobile Leak: Everything we know!
Mobile seems to be in development! (Source: )

Exciting rumors have surfaced for Valorant Mobile, as Riot Games is reportedly developing the tactical shooter for mobile iOS and Android. A new source has surfaced, so let’s take a look at everything we know so far.

When came to mobile devices via Wild Rift, people flocked to the game like there was no tomorrow. Almost everyone started playing it, even those who weren’t interested in LoL. Now Wild Rift has its own player base that is completely independent of League of Legends. Will the same thing happen soon with Valorant?

Will Valorant mobile be released?

It’s not confirmed yet, but there are hints that an announcement will come soon.

The first clue comes from code from the Valorant beta and later patches that data miners have examined. This suggests that a mobile API is in the works or in the early stages of development. In 2020, a short YouTube clip surfaced showing the controls for Mobile Valorant, but this was never confirmed by Riot Games.

When will Mobile Valorant be released?

A new rumor has surfaced that Mobile Valorant could see some sort of announcement at E3, but it’s also rumored that it could be delayed due to COVID-19. We expect an update between June or July 2021, but nothing has been confirmed or hinted at by Riot Games. E3 Online is set for June 12-15, and this is where we expect more news on Valorant Mobile. LoL got a mobile version, so it makes a lot of sense that Valorant will go mobile too! Fingers crossed!

What is Valorant?

Valorant initially appears to be a cross between CS:Go and . A competitive shooter where two small teams compete against each other.

Your team is either ready to attack or defend, with the attackers placing a “stinger” (essentially a bomb) that the other team must then defuse or preferably prevent you from placing at all.

The attacking team can win by either eliminating the defenders or placing the stinger and then protecting it from defusing until the timer runs out. The defenders can similarly win by destroying the attackers before they have a chance to plant their stinger, or disarming the stinger after it has been planted.

Each team of five can play as both attackers and defenders during a game. Each game has a total of 25 rounds, with the first team to win 13 rounds declared the winner
