Organizations new to Dota 2 in 2020

The popularity of Dota 2 has arguably declined recently, at least according to some fans. Yes, player numbers have really declined, but the competitive scene is as good as ever – if not better. Even though Dota 2 is still in the early months of 2020, it’s already attracted some new organizations from the industry.

Somebody’s eyes wide open… Overwatch welcomes its players with an April Fool’s update. The heroes got huge googly eyes: the Googly Eyes. And that looks damn cute – and crazy!April April – that’s what Overwatch is saying right now. Their April Fools’ update brings a new skin of sorts, with only the hero’s eyes being affected:

Fixed a bug that caused D.Va’s mech to face the wrong direction when appearing in the starting area, and that caused D.Va to face the wrong direction when exiting the mech through emergency egress or the use of self-destruct.

Overwatch

Overwatch is a multiplayer first-person shooter from the US game developer Blizzard Entertainment. The game is set in Blizzard’s fourth fantasy universe after Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo. Overwatch was released in May 2016 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Since then, bug fixes (patches) and updates have been released at regular intervals. A version for Nintendo Switch has been available since October 15, 2019. In Overwatch, two teams of six players each compete against each other. Both teams fight for control of a given location or escort a cargo on the playing field within a given period of time.
