OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

BAPTISTE

We reduce the minimum hit points within the life support field and also Baptiste’s area heal because densely packed teams benefited too much from it. However, direct hits with healing grenades now heal the affected ally more. So Baptiste can still heal individual targets efficiently, but he has to aim a little more precisely to do so.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Biotic launcher (secondary fire mode).

  • Healing from the grenades has been reduced from 60 to 50 hit points.
  • Direct hits from the grenades now heal by an additional 20 hit points.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Life Support Field

  • The hit points of allies within the field can now drop to 10% of the maximum hit points (previously 20%).
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

D.VA

Opposing teams often intentionally leave D.Va alive when the rest of her team has been killed and she has lost the mech. This change makes it more dangerous for heroes with few hit points to be in the target area of Request Mech.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Request mech

  • Damage increased from 50 to 250.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

ECHO

This change comes from the community test lab. Because Echo already receives additional hit points from her Duplicate ultimate ability, she does not also need to be fully healed after it expires. The minimum hit point value exists so that she doesn’t die immediately after Duplicate ends. Finally, with long duration ultimate abilities, it’s easy to forget how many hit points you had to begin with.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Duplicate

  • When Duplicate ends, Echo’s hit points are now set to either the value before the ability was activated or 100, whichever is higher.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

MOIRA

Moira couldn’t even make it as a supporter in team compositions and metas where she was supposed to shine. We are reducing the cooldown of Biotic Sphere so that Moira can react faster to different situations.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Biotic Sphere

  • Cooldown reduced from 10 to 8 sec.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

ORISA

We’ll take another look at the cooldown of Orisa’s Halt! ability, because it can’t be combined with other heroes very efficiently since the last changes. But we’ll also pay close attention to whether gameplay suffers when Halt! can be used too often.

OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Stop!

  • Cooldown reduced from 8 to 6 sec.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

REINHARDT

Since the last changes, Reinhardt is too effective. To allow other tanks to take advantage, we are reducing his armor back to the old value. For now, we’re not taking back the increased damage from Rocket Hammer because this change offsets the reduced duration of Earth Strike’s impairment.

General

  • Armor has been reduced from 250 to 200. (This reduces the total value of hit points and armor from 550 to 500).
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

ROADHOG

Although we haven’t changed anything about Roadhog since the end of last year, when he was very popular, he’s weakening a bit at the moment. That’s because the game balance of the other heroes has changed quite a bit. We’re increasing his damage a bit so hopefully he’ll find his way back into the meta.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Shotgun (primary and secondary fire modes).

  • Damage per projectile increased from 6 to 6.6.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

SOMBRA

Sombra players often wait for the right moment to strike and then make off with the translocator. By increasing her movement speed during Camouflage, she can rejoin the fray more quickly in the future.
OVERWATCH-PATCHNOTES – 22.4.2021

Camouflage

  • The bonus to movement speed has been increased from 50% to 65%.

Overwatch is a team-based 6vs6 shooter that was released on May 24, 2016. Overwatch stays true to the true style of Blizzard’s previous titles. It was developed by Jeff Kaplan and is considered a “new concept” shooter in the FPS genre. The game was officially unveiled at BlizzCon along with 12 heroes on November 7, 2014.

The story of Overwatch is set on a highly fictionalized future version of Earth. In a time where humans and robots, which are called Omnics, live together (Chris Metzen hinted that the story deals with this very robot race). 30 years before the time when Overwatch takes place, the so-called “Omnic Crisis ” occurred. The robots, once helpers of humans, rebelled against their creators for reasons as yet unknown and triggered a worldwide chaos. Faced with the imminent destruction of human civilization, the best soldiers of all nations came together to form a program called “Overwatch”.

Their job was to protect the world from the Omnics, which they succeeded in doing. For the next 25 years, they were the protectors of the planet, united in an international coalition. Some agents stayed, some were replaced, but at some point something changed: the Overwatch disintegrated. However, 5 years later after this , incidents with Omnics are again accumulating, a worldwide terrorist organization also seems interested in destabilizing the world order. A new crisis is looming. At this point, your career as an Overwatch agent begins.
