Ocelote calls other teams ‘stingy’

Spaniard Carlos “” Rodrigeuz (32) is the boss of the great European team G2, who are umpteen-time champions in . Currently G2 sells its botlaner Martin “Rekkles” Larsson (25). Ocelote makes it clear: other teams in LoL are because they don’t want to pay the modest sum that G2 is calling out. Their fans are fucking lunatics.

That’s the situation with G2:

  • Team G2 (based in Berlin) dominated European LoL for years, even came close to becoming World Champions in 2019. But before 2021 they gave away their best player to the USA, since then the worm is in it. They couldn’t even qualify for the Worlds.
  • Before 2021, the team had acquired the legendary botlaner Rekkles from rival Fnatic. However, after the failed – Season , they now want to sell Rekkles and 2 other players.
  • Ocelote is now the collar burst. He is apparently bothered by rumors about how much money G2 allegedly sells the botlaner for. On reddit, claims circulated that Rekkles would cost 10 million US dollars (via reddit).

LoL: Permanent champion allegedly sells half team and German coach – With price tag

This is what the head of G2 writes: Ocelote is a former LoL pro and is known for his rants.

You dumb asses keep making up numbers and stories. The official selling price of Rekkles is 1.5 million euros – plus he can go to any team anywhere as long as they pay his price, which is already below market value anyway.

Stop making shit up already, you fucking lunatics.

Just accept that your team is cheap and move on.

Unworthy treatment of the player

What are the reactions to this: The player “”, which G2 sold, makes a little fun of his former boss Ocelote. Because he had posted on reddit immediately before his tweet that Rekkles cost 2 million US dollars.

Perkz’s logic is: If Ocelote lowers the price of Rekkles like this every 5 minutes, it will soon be available for free.

Within a few minutes, Ocelote lowered the price for Rekkles from $2 million to $1.5 million.

The players Wunder and Mikyx, both of whom are also for sale, are now asking Ocelote to tell them their exact transfer fee as well.

Others complain that it is unworthy of G2 to deal with such a legendary player as Rekkles.

One Twitter user accuses Ocelote of being cynical here. He signed Rekkles “for free”, to say 1.5 million is below market value is brazen. In principle, he got a player for free and is now putting him on the bench and practically forcing him to move to the United States.

The last few years didn’t go so well for Rekkles. Will 2022 be better?

G2 trained extensively against the top teams during Worlds, including world champion EDward Gaming, who even thanked G2. Ocelote believes he has already found his perfect team for 2022 in these training matches:
