This is the bug: As user “Raks-” noticed and shared in the FIFA subreddit, one player in the FIFA 23 gameplay deep dive somehow falls pretty much off the grid.

While Bellingham is in the front of the frame demonstrating how “Technical Dribbling” is supposed to change the game, there’s a player in the background just standing around in a T-pose. He holds his arms to the side and stares straight ahead.

What players say: In the FIFA subreddit the post is on top right now with over 2,900 upvotes and more than 129 comments. Under the title “EA doesn’t really let any player stand around in T-pose in the official gameplay trailer” some are amused about the obvious mistake in the trailer.

• One player notes, “It’s even worse. In fact, it’s two players (one Real, one BVB) blending into each other” (via reddit). And indeed: if you look closely, you can see jersey elements of both teams.
• “What do you think, this is obviously an intended gameplay feature,” says another (via reddit).
• “Look, everyone thinks this is a “SpiEl FeHler”, but as a lifelong BVB fan I’m telling you, this is just our defense in recent years,” jokes user cfbones (via reddit).

In addition, user “HPfcp” (via reddit) noted another curiosity. Thus, an animation of the keeper Alisson at 3:15 in the trailer is criticized, which looks quite unpleasant played more slowly:

Besides these strange animations, however, there are more serious criticisms of the trailer and some gameplay elements.
