CoD Warzone: Update 30.06. – Patch Notes
When is the update coming? The new features are already online. The update came in the evening of June 30.
How big is the update? It’s just a mini update – you don’t need to download much, on consoles it even runs automatically when you log in.
What’s in the update? The focus of the update is the adjustments to the current best weapons in Warzone. Almost all weapons that have been at the top of the meta food chain since the start of – Season 4 have received a nerf. But there were also a few buffs:
- NZ-41 – Nerf
- Less damage on chest hits and nerf of Orbweaver barrel and Sakura ammo.
- UGM-8 – Nerf
- The recoilless salvo setup has been generated as well as the powerful Sakura ammo. The other ammo setups were also weakened as well as the Bernard barrel.
- H4 Bilxes – Nerf
- First and second damage areas have been reduced in size.
- Marco 5 – Nerf
- Hip fire while ducking/lying has been generated, Perfetto run brings less movement.
- Vanguard Sniper – Buff
- Three line rifle, Kar 98k and Type 99 have higher bullet velocity.
- “Extended” attachment – Nerf
- Increases bullet speed by only 8% instead of 10%.
- MX Silencer – Nerf
- Increases bullet speed by only 12% instead of 15%.
- M1941 Handstopper – Nerf
- Recoil control is now only 3.5% instead of 4%.
In addition, there are now the lootable perks on Fortune’s Keep. Senior Creative Director of Warzone, Ted Timmins, once called this mechanic a “gamechanger” for Warzone and thus the most important gameplay change of – Season 3 / 2022.
So you can now look out for the Perks on the new map to upgrade your loadouts.
On top of that, there were some bug fixes. Among them is the broken reload on the H4 Blixen submachine gun. If you reloaded in the sights, it took too long. However, there was no new information about the problems with broken walls on Fortune’s Keep.
If you want to have a look at the patch notes yourself, you can find them at developer Raven Software (via ravensoftware.com).
The latest changes could hit the weapon meta hard. The best weapons in Warzone have been all about extremely low recoil and easy playability since the start of – Season 4.
It’s impossible to say for sure how the adjustments will play out shortly after the update. But we’ll keep an eye on the development and revise our list of the best weapons in Warzone as soon as possible.
