Netflix and Ubisoft today announced plans to develop three mobile games from the world’s most popular game franchises to be released on Netflix beginning in 2023. The three games, announced today at Ubisoft’s annual Digital Event Ubisoft Forward were first announced, expand the game series Valiant Hearts, Mighty Quest and Assassin’s Creed. They will be available exclusively to Netflix members worldwide without ads or in-app purchases on mobile devices.
The series based around the multi-award winning Ubisoft game Valiant Hearts: The Great War is getting a sequel developed by the original core team. While the concept remains the same, a new storyline adds excitement. It will be available to Netflix members in January 2023.
After the acclaimed mobile game The Mighty Quest for Epic Loot comes the Mighty Quest-series now comes to Netflix with a new game in 2023. This time, the inspiration for the new format comes from the roguelike genre, to offer an experience that honors the game series’ top-notch hack-and-slash combat while maintaining high replay value.
Fans of the Assassin’s Creed-series can also rejoice, as they will be able to access the series via Netflix in several ways. Assassin’s Creed-universe. In addition to the already announced live-action filmed series a brand new mobile game is being developed exclusively for Netflix.
