When WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic is released, a move is in store. The legendary necropolis of Naxxramas will leave the skies of the Plaguelands to make itself at home in Northrend. All the original loot from Classic-Naxx will no longer be available from then on. Therefore, one player has already obtained the Tier 3 sets for all classes.
Sometime this year, Wrath of the Lich King content will land on the Classic servers and lure us to Northrend. But it’s not just us who are heading to the realm of the Lich King, but also the legendary necropolis of Naxxramas, which is currently still making the skies of the Eastern Plaguelands unsafe. And since the old necromancer Kel’Thuzad doesn’t feel like packing boxes, all the original loot ends up on the virtual garbage heap in the course of the move.
A pet set for the story
Among the soon to disappear loot are some of the most beautiful class equipment sets in WoW history. We’re just thinking here of the Tier 3 armor sets of rogues, shamans, warriors, priests or warlocks. At the latest, when the Transmog feature will land on the Classic servers (will it ever happen?!), some players might be annoyed that these iconic sets are no longer farmable. The only way to avoid this is to get all Naxxramas sets with all classes now.
Sound like madness? Well, that didn’t stop Reddit user DerGrafVonRudesheim from doing just that. To do so, he had to organize countless PUG raids for Naxxramas well into TBC Classic. He accumulated a total of 310 days of game time on the nine characters. He had the time to do this because of his cancer, which he has been fighting for five years. WoW (buy now ) was a great way for him to distract himself and recharge his batteries. Here you can see the nine characters of the player:
