These players have now been banned for seven days and cannot participate in the FUT Champions Finals.

Opinions on the ban are split – while some are amazed at how hard EA is cracking down, others say it’s not hard enough. One:e Reddit user:in writes: “This is actually a bigger punishment than I thought. I was expecting that the cheater:in would just get a warning.” On Twitter, some cheater:ins are reporting that they will be shown a 1000-day ban in the game, however, with the official announcement, it can be assumed that it is only a 7-day ban.
