Wailing Woods is an area on the map of Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode.

Description

Wailing Woods is located far in the northeast corner of the map right between the two areas Risky Reels and Lonely Lodge. Tomato Temple is also located directly west of it.

As the name suggests, Wailing Woods is a huge forest area. Unlike other areas, there are hardly any buildings here. In the middle of the area, there is a cabin in a clearing. The house is surrounded by a maze of bushes. Furthermore, there are some small sheds where you can find prey. Outside the forest and near the coast you can find a gigantic monument in the shape of a fox, which can hold up to two chests.

Things to know

• If you are looking for a quiet place to land, Wailing Woods is a good choice.
• When landing, you should head for either the house with the maze or the fox monument, as you can find chests in these places.
• Wailing Woods is the area with the most trees on the map. If you plan to do a lot of building, it’s a good place to mine for wood.
