The Block is an area in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode that connects it to the Creative mode. Here, works created by players in Creative Mode are displayed from time to time.
The Block is located where the Risky Reels area used to be.
Guidelines
To use The Block, Epic Games has published the following guidelines[1]:
- A flat area of 25 x 25 tiles on your island. It is extremely important that your made tiles fit on The Block without any problems.
- Try to keep your “Occupied Memory” at less than 50,000. Efficiency is just as important as creativity!
- Chest, floor loot, and vehicle spawn points are set by Epic. These do not need to be built in.
- You can use any available component.
- Be original. Create something new and don’t copy other people’s ideas.
- There is no height requirement, but please match your buildings to similar ones on the Battle Royale map.

Fortnite is on everyone’s lips – even among those who don’t have much to do with online gaming themselves. After all, it is one of the most famous and successful video games ever to hit the gaming market. Released in July 2017, it is still the most popular online game among young people. Worldwide, 250 million registered players play Fortnite: Battle Royale, with up to 10.8 million users online simultaneously at peak times. What many don’t know: Apart from the popular free Battle Royale mode, there is also a paid Fortnite download version subtitled “Save The World”, in which individual missions have to be completed.
WHAT IS FORTNITE? GUIDE FOR BEGINNERS
Fortnite is a world that offers many different experiences. Land on the island and fight to be the last player – or team – left. Create your own island with your own rules. Hang out with friends on an island someone else created. Or save the world by taking down entire hordes of monsters with other players.
Thousands of games await you in Fortnite. Some were created by Epic Games, while others come from creators in the community. These games include: Battle Royale, Zero Build (Battle Royale without building), Creative Mode games created by the community, and Save the World. BATTLE ROYALE
In Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll jump off the battle bus above the island and fight until it’s just you left. You can also team up with friends or other players and take on the opposing teams. Make use of the materials wood, stone and metal to construct helpful buildings.
In Fortnite Battle Royale you can always look forward to new content, including new items, weapons, vehicles, custom modes, special events and “- Season s”. Each new – Season changes the island with its own theme. For example, it has already been taken over by secret agents and caught in a flood.
