Retail Row is a former area in Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode. It was replaced by the Mega Mall area at the beginning of the ninth – Season .

Description

Retail Row was located on the eastern side of the map quite centrally. It was a large square with several stores, restaurants and other buildings. The area was a popular landing spot for players, as there was usually good loot to be found here. In addition, Retail Row was located close to the center of the map.

During the volcanic eruption on May 4, 2019, parts of Retail Row were destroyed. The area was later rebuilt and renamed Mega Mall.

Crack Zone

“A new crack zone has transformed Mega Mall back into Retail Row – meaning sharply falling prices. But these discounts don’t just attract harmless bargain hunters – vile ones also want to save money and spawn in the crack zone to claim the mall for themselves.”

During – Season X, a crack zone appeared at this location, thereby recalling Retail Row. However, Retail Row also brought monsters back to the map. Hordes of Scheusals now spawn there and attack players. Abominations cannot leave the crack zone in Retail Row. In certain game modes, however, no Scheusale appear there.

What many don’t know: Apart from the popular free Battle Royale mode, there is also a paid Fortnite download version subtitled “Save The World”, in which individual missions have to be completed.

BATTLE ROYALE

In Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll jump off the battle bus above the island and fight until it’s just you left. You can also team up with friends or other players and take on the opposing teams. Make use of the materials wood, stone and metal to construct helpful buildings.

In Fortnite Battle Royale you can always look forward to new content, including new items, weapons, vehicles, custom modes, special events and “- Season s”. Each new – Season changes the island with its own theme. For example, it has already been taken over by secret agents and caught in a flood.
