Construction
Shortdust corresponds to Dust as far as possible, but has been reduced by a few areas. Both bomb sites have been removed and replaced with a single one, located in the large building in the center of the map. The areas beyond this building from the counter-terrorist spawn have all been made inaccessible. As a result, it only has two of its regular passes. For Shortdust, however, the building has two additional entrances, in the form of a hole in the floor and a hole in the wall, which can be reached from the adjacent underpass or the path running alongside the building and the room beyond Equipped with more cover boxes. The spawn of the terrorists was also moved to this underpass.
development
Although Shortdust appeared with Operation Vanguard, it was not part of it and was created by Valve rather than the community. With Operation Vanguard came a major update for the two game modes Destruction and Arms Race, in the course of which Shortdust was released as a new Destruction map. [1]
