Seaside is a Bomb Scenario map from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . Seaside is set in a Caribbean coastal town. She was submitted to the Steam Workshop by Tanuki on February 11, 2013 and was part of Operation Payback from April 25 to August 31, 2013 . [1] As a result, it was temporarily included in the official CS map canon. She was also part of Operation Bravo and Operation Phoenix , but not Operation Breakout .
Construction
What sets Seaside apart is the numerous boardwalks that connect most areas of the map. Since the map is set directly on a coast, there is an increased risk of falling into the water, which can be deadly. It is also possible that the bomb falls into the water, so that it can no longer be planted. The map is relatively small. For example, the spawn point of the anti-terrorist unit is directly across from bomb site A and not far from bomb site B, which is in a building. The terrorist spawn is diagonally across from the counter-terrorist spawn, but about the same distance from both bomb sites. Between the two bomb sites there is still the middle area, which the terrorists, in contrast to the anti-terrorist unit, can reach quickly from an elevated position.

Due to its huge popularity, the map was also part of Operation Bravo , which was released on September 19, 2013 and was once again playable on official servers. On February 12, 2014, it was announced that Seaside would once again be part of an upcoming Operation, as the map received enough votes in a community vote. By then, an average of 189,961 rounds had been played daily on the map, of which the counter -terrorist unit was winning 54.24% of the time. [2] From February 20 to June 4, 2014, she was part of Operation Phoenix . [3]
