Rush is a hostage scenario map in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . The map was submitted to the Steam Workshop by Invalid nick on January 21, 2014 and was part of Operation Breakout from July 1st to October 2nd, 2014 . As a result, it was temporarily included in the official CS map canon. Rush takes place in a hidden camp in the jungle.
Construction
Rush can roughly be divided into two parts: the camp with the corrugated iron huts, in the back of which the hostages are located, and a curved river that connects the two spawn points of the teams. The river bends about 45 degrees in the middle, but still offers a good position for snipers. Even though the two spawn points are across from each other, the entire camp lies between the two locations, both of which are directly adjacent to it. In principle, the anti-terrorist unit can advance through two positions: the hill in the middle of the camp, the right area of the camp, which also has hills connected by a suspension bridge, and the already mentioned map-spanning river on the left edge. The camp itself consists mostly of simple huts, which are assembled from wooden boards and corrugated iron and also have several entrances and windows. The hostage rescue zone is located directly at the spawn of the anti-terrorist unit and is drawn in the sand.
