Maps Counter Strike – Militia

Maps Counter Strike - militia

, or Militia , is a Hostage Scenario map featured in Counter-Strike ,  Counter-Strike: Condition Zero , Counter-Strike: Source , and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . Even though the map has changed a lot over the course of the series, the basic structure around a large house and surrounding area with tunnel systems has remained in all parts of the series.

Construction

In addition, the first version of Militia is also very Half-Life-esque and is visually reminiscent of the outside area of the Black Mesa Research Facility . which lies behind a ravine and is probably located in the American West. The hostages are in both the basement and the garage of the building. In addition to hiding places in the house, the map also offers the option of advancing via the sewers. However, melee combat is not the only way to eliminate the respective enemies: the map also offers several sniper positions.

trivia

  • In CS 1.6 you can find a pile of feces as an Easter egg in the toilet bowl in the bathroom of the house, which explodes if you shoot it several times, but it doesn’t cause any damage.
  • Also in the CS 1.6 version, a Black Mesa SUV can be seen parked in a garage with two of the hostages. The vehicle can also be seen above one of the cameras.
