Lake is an Arsenal card from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . It takes place in a kind of new development area on a lake that gives it its name and can now be played in the two modes Arms Race and Destruction .
Construction
Like the other Arsenal maps, Lake is manageable in size. The southernmost quarter of the map is covered by the eponymous lake, bordered by an apartment building that houses the map’s bomb site in Destruction mode. In its lower floor, which has two doors and a permanently open access for the boat parked there, there is a staircase to the top, but you can also enter the building via stairs on two sides. To the left of this house is another building that appears to be a garage and to the right is a building that has not yet been completed. The rest of the area around the buildings is relatively open, only rocks, boxes, trees and cars can provide cover on Lake.
development
Developed for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive by Valve , Turtle Rock Studios and Hidden Path Entertainment , Lake is based on the  Left 4 Dead mission  Finale at the Boathouse from the Dead Zone campaign . Lake is one of the six original maps released for the new Arsenal mode Destruction before releasing some of the maps for Arms Race on November 11 , 2014 .
