Maps Counter Strike – Damn

Maps Counter Strike - DamnMist is a Bomb Scenario map from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive . The map was submitted to the Steam Workshop by Invalid nick on March 9th, 2014 and was part of Operation Breakout from July 1st to October 2nd, 2014. As a result, it was temporarily included in the official CS map canon. Mist is set in a military restricted area in Sweden.

Construction

The base that Mist is set on has different floors, as well as narrow corridors, stairwells, and exterior corridors that connect them. The terrorist spawn is in a hill system in front of the base. Bomb site A is inside, can be reached in three ways and is guarded by an elevated room. Above Bomb Site A is an elevated sniper spot that can only be reached via a ladder. From this position, large parts of the top floor were kept in view. Bomb Site B is on the top floor and, like the other bomb site, has three different entrances. However, the exact location for the bomb is covered, so you can’t shoot at it from the sniper’s nest.

The map was submitted to the Steam Workshop on March 9th, 2014 and has been updated several times since then. From July 1st to October 2nd, 2014, Mist was part of Operation Breakout and could be played on official Valve servers. Since the operation was not extended, Mist was subsequently removed from the official canon. [2]

trivia

  • Invalid nick, creator of Mist, also created the Rush map . Like Mist, Rush was temporarily added to the official map canon with Operation Breakout.
  • Much like the Insertion breakout card , Mist appears to be set in Sweden. In various places on the map you can read signs with Swedish inscriptions.
