Winter Crash (also Christmas Crash) is the redesigned map Crash from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It is the same map, except that there is Christmas spirit everywhere and it is night. It appeared with the update 1.4 for the PC.
Description
Winter Crash is just like Crash, but the appearance has changed. First of all, it is deep night, while the normal map plays in the afternoon. As the name suggests, Winter Crash is set in a snowy landscape, thus the ground is also made of snow and not sand. The buildings are decorated with flashing lights and other Christmas decorations. Near the crashed helicopter there is a 5-10 meters high Christmas tree, under which there are presents.
Info
- This map can be downloaded only for the PC. It is not available for Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii.
- When someone achieves an air strike, the fighter jets fly through the sky, but all you hear is the sound of tinkling bells and Santa Claus shouting “HO HO HO” or “HAPPY CHRISTMAS”.
- The air strike jets don’t drop bombs, they drop explosive presents, but that doesn’t change the damage or the range of the explosion.
Call of Duty
The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
