Maps Call of Duty - Village
Village

Village is a multiplayer map from : Modern Warfare 3, which was first introduced on Call of Duty XP. It is set in an African city in the jungle and the African militia fights against the PMC.

Description

Village is a large map set in an African city. A river flows through the middle of the city, which you can cross with the help of a bridge. The river is fed by a waterfall that comes out of a cave on the side of the map. There are many open areas where you can look far, but also many houses for close combat. On one side of the river are the more important houses of the city, on the other side it reminds a bit of a slum.

Flag positions

In Herrschaft, flag A is located by a fountain just outside the entrance to the waterfall cave. Flag B is on the bridge that crosses the river, and Flag C is just behind the church, almost exactly at the spawn point of the African militia.

Survival Combat

In Survival Battle, Village has a difficulty of easy. Players start with a Five-Seven, two frag grenades, two stun grenades, one resurrection, and 250 armor. Enemies consist of bomber squads, attack dogs, helicopters and juggernauts. The Claymore experts spawn from turn 22. The armory is located in a hut, almost right next to it is also the equipment store.

Info

  • In the city there is a church called “The African Gospel Church”.
  • In the attic of the church is a giant teddy bear.
  • In the southern corner of the map there is a place where you can play a game called “Modern Warfare” on a slot machine, which of course doesn’t work. Next to it is a teddy bear and a bunch of human heads.
  • The main character of the “Modern Warfare” game is a reference to Super Mario and you can even get him for an emblem.
  • In the middle of the map there is a dead goat lying on the ground.
  • Severed human heads can be found all over the map. For example, there are two in the destroyed car in the small bunker in the southwest corner of the map.
  • Outside the map on the eastern side is a partially hidden hatch with the numbers “4 8 15 16 23 42”. This is a reference to the TV series Lost, in which a hatch also had these numbers.
  • On this map, as well as on the map Carbon, you can see the flag of Libya on the license plates of the cars.
  • In the movie G.I. Joe: Retaliation you can see how the characters Roadblock and Duke play survival combat on Village.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
