Maps Call of Duty - Terminal
Terminal

Terminal was redesigned and released for free download for Call of Modern Warfare 3. On July 17, the map appeared for ELITE premium users and on July 18 for people who don’t own ELITE on Xbox 360, and then on August 16 and 17, respectively, Terminal was made available for PlayStation 3 players. On the same day, the map appeared on PC.

Description

This map is set at the terminal of an airport and is full of luggage, bars and small stores. The outside area of the map, where planes and cargo are located, also has many small places that are accessible. You can even board a 727 airliner, which has been realistically detailed inside.

Security checkpoints and barriers turn the map into a real maze. Players can even go inside one of the planes. That and the interior can be used to hide from enemy air strikes, but the building still has glass windows on the ceiling that let bombs or something through, so the plane is the safest place on the map to stay safe from enemy shootdowns. The main hallway that overlooks the exterior of the map has been nicely nicknamed the “Aisle of Death” and should be avoided at all costs because enemy players can easily shoot through the windows from below, as well as from the cockpit of the plane, and additionally there is no cover. The store in the aisle is an excellent place to hang out, because you can look both outside and at the aisle, and therefore have a good overview.

For the most part, the map consists of tight turns and the fights take place from a medium distance. As a result, assault rifles and submachine guns are the weapons you see most often, and where you don’t have a clear view with your weapon, you just throw a grenade. Smoke grenades are useful if you want to move around the map without being targeted by a sniper.

Because of the large amount of glass on the map, shots with the full metal jacket are more frequent than on like Wasteland, where there is hardly any cover.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
