Maps Call of Duty - Sub Base
Sub Base

Sub Base is a medium multiplayer map from , based on the single player mission Emergency.

Description

Sub Base is a snowy, multi-level map, where there are many open areas, but also narrow buildings and raised roofs.

In front of the buildings is a kind of courtyard, to which most of the paths on the map lead, so it is also a desirable place for shooting. Players on the catwalks above will fight enemies arriving through a tunnel or via the roof opposite.

A large warehouse at one end is used to police the map, whereas at the other end is a sort of power plant where things only really go down at close range.

Info

  • The SEALs have a slight advantage on Sub Base because their dark black vests make them much harder to spot in the buildings.
  • In return, they stand out immediately in the snowy exterior. The Spetznas, on the other hand, balance this out easily with their white camouflage suits, but you can still spot them immediately in either area.
  • Along with the obvious Russian subs, there is also at least one American boat in the dock area and in one of the warehouses you can find an American delivery vehicle, both taken from the mission The Only Good Day… was Yesterday.
  • When with the SEALs, the city camouflage armor is used, while the Spetznas put on their Arctic camouflage suit.
  • In the building just to the right of the Russian spawn point, there is a poster explaining the parts of the AK-47 and how to take it apart.

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
