Description

Studio is a small map. It has the same layout as Firing Range, so it also brings back classic components from the part of Black Ops. There are a lot of tight spaces and small corners, just like on Nuketown 2025. The best points to make sure you make a lot of kills are the castle tower and the tavern in the middle of the map.

Info

  • Just like Hazard and Nuketown 2025, Studio is a remake of an earlier map.
  • Inside the large trailer you can see several props. Among them are two ray guns, the Sliquifier and several Vector K10s, along with another unknown weapon.
  • On the side of the trailer is the SOG logo, and next to it are the letters CODBO, a reference to Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • Inside the building with the costumes hangs a plaque that says “Firing Range Studio”, an allusion to the map this one is based on. Next to it you can see the outline of a body that looks similar to the figures that were placed on the map at the time for target practice, to the right of which is the Treyarch logo.
  • Some posters on the map were taken from the Drive-In map from Call of Duty: Black Ops.
  • When you run past the T-Rex eating through the fence at Dinosaur Square, it moves unless you stop, whereupon it also stands still. This is an allusion to the famous movie Jurassic Parc, in which the dinosaurs only approached their target when it was also moving.
  • There is also an allusion to the also famous movie Godzilla, namely a miniature city with large footprints.
  • In the pirate set, the left skeleton slowly shakes its head as if saying “no”, while the right skeleton slowly nods as if saying “yes”.

Call of Duty

The Call of Duty series has existed since 2003 and in addition to various spin-offs, including for the handheld systems Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, 14 major titles of the series have now been released. Ever since the first part of the series, great emphasis has been placed on the online multiplayer mode in addition to the single-player campaign, which is also reflected in the development of the shooter series. Since the first Call of Duty, World at War, which was developed exclusively by Treyarch, each part also included cooperative challenges that you could play together with friends. The latest installment, Call of Duty: World War II, also features an extended multiplayer mode that puts you and your friends in the combat zones and famous battles of World War II. Using the divisions, you’ll be able to choose between the deadly sniper and the brute armored division and support your comrades in battle. In addition, World War II also has a zombie mode “Nazi Zombies”, as in its predecessor Call of Duty: Black Ops. Face the monsters of the Third Reich and win glory and honor.
